The rumors are true. We’ve mentioned a few times we have a very special guest coming to join the CPBA at this year’s Eat! Vancouver festival at BC Place. The special guest is none other than King Cocktail himself – Dale Degroff.
We’re teaming up with Legacy Liquor store & Beam Suntory to bring Dale to Eat! Vancouver to showcase his infamous seminar ‘I’ll Take Manhattans: The Origins of Aromatic Bitters.’ On Friday, May 1 join James Beard award-winning mixologist & author Dale DeGroff for a lively tasting presentation on the origins of aromatic bitters. Discover the origin of ingredients while sampling a variety of aromatic bitters- individually and paired in a Knob Creek rye Manhattan. DeGroff captivates with stories of how these botanicals were discovered and their impact on history and culture. Throughout the seminar, attendees enjoy multiple variations of Knob Creek Manhattans.
Dale will also be on-hand for a book signing on Saturday afternoon in the Legacy Pop-Up store inside the Eat! Vancouver showcase at BC Place.
